There are many, who prefer to work from home as it gives them the freedom and flexibility to manage their home and work life.

Start business at Home or Office

For startup companies starting to work from home, is a great advantage as the costs and overheads are reduced, but as the business expands a time will come where you will have to move into large premises. On the other hand, some entrepreneurs would prefer to setup their offices away from home, so that they do not get distracted from their work, as at home there’s always something that pops up and you work ends up being delayed.  Whatever the case if deciding to work from home you need to be disciplined and focused on what your tasks are so that you can complete them on time.

My Personal Opinion

As I have worked from home and also in an office environment, both are great places to work and have their good sides and the bad sides, hence now I have a home office and also my main office, I personal have enjoyed both, as it depends on ones personal situations, for some Working form home may only be the option they have, due to other commitments they have at home, or if they are staring up a business, it’s a wise option to consider.

On the other hand working from home can also be lonely, boring, which if you’re not a self-motivated person, can have a huge impact on your output.

Working from offices is great, and I actually prefer going out meeting my team, and working together on projects, as it brings that extra excitement and joy out in your work, also at times your mind becomes fresh as your out and about and haven’t spent the whole day in your home office.

Whichever option you choose to work from home or an office, you need to ensure that it will be a productive choice, and you will not get distracted with your surroundings
