We deal with many people every day, during the course of our day we interact with at least 5-10 people if not more depending on what we do (unless we’re on an exotic island enjoying the sun J all alone). It is extremely important if we want to succeed in our business that we give every person and customer the attention that he or she deserves. This rule I guess does not just apply to a business but also in our general lives, if we treat others the way we want to be treated, we can expect the same respect back and others will help us when in need and listen to us when we say something.

There will be many occasions when you come across a customer or a person, whom you wish you had not met, and giving them a cold shoulder could cost your business. So when interacting with a customer that you wish was not your customer, its best to keep it very professional but also giving them the attention they need, as they could potentially come back for repeat business, and you never know they may recommend someone to you that could be your best customer.

 Conclusion as Marry Kay Ash states in the above quote, if you have the mindset that everyone around you is important, you will see your good character having an impact on your business, as more and more people around you will know you and come to you for business, as you are giving them that slight extra attention that your competitor is not.
