Google’s Matt Cutts Confirms Facebook And Twitter Links Influence Rankings
Right from the start of 2010 the SEO fraternity kept on talking about the social link graph influencing the SERPs but it is only a few days back that Google has nodded its head with confirmation about the same.

Matt Cutts warns the SEO world not to go over board with this and misuse it like the inbound links factor but to be natural and make sure that your social media account and content can be crawled if you have a very high privacy level and the content cannot be crawled then it would not be possible to co relate it with the rankings.
